Social Dances, Parties and Other Events

January 11 - May 24: Winter and Spring class sessions at Moiliili Community Center. Visitors welcome!

January 28: Burns Night. See the Caledonian Society website.

February 17, 18 & 19: Aloha Winter Weekend. A full weekend of classes, social dancing, dining, ending with a ceilidh on Sunday evening. We open with a social "meet and greet" dance on Friday evening. Classes take place Saturday and Sunday at the Palladium of the Ala Wai Gold Club. There is a dinner-dance on Saturday evening, and a ceilidh on Sunday evening. Guest Instructor - Eileen Hsu.  Live music for all dancing events by the Humunukunukuapua'a and Strathspey Society Band. For a registration form, fill out and print a registration form to mail in.

March 31 - April 1:  Hawaiian Scottish Festival - Kapiolani Park.  The RSCDS-Hawaii branch is a co-sponsor and runs a Tea Tent selling tea, coffee, lemonade, scones and shortbread. We also demonstrate Scottish Country Dancing.   See the Hawaiian Scottish Association website.

May 6: Social gathering at Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden. Watch this site for more details!

June 3: Annual General Meeting.
